La Libertad Municipal Fire Station is located at the vicinity of the Communal, equipped with one (1) unit serviceable Fire Truck. It has existing manpower/Firefighters of thirteen (13) uniformed personnel and one (1) Fire Aide deputized from the Local Government Unit.

With the advent of dialing centers, the National Government through the office of the Department of Interior and Local Government established 911 Hotline number intended for emergency call only.

Municipal Fire Station of this locality was first established and inaugurated last December 8, 2017, funded by the Bureau of Fire Protection in the amount of Php 2,622,369.56, a typical fire station.

POLICY:

Republic Act 6975 also known as the DILG Act of 1990, Section 54. Powers and Functions of BFP. The Fire Bureau shall be responsible for the prevention and suppression of all destructive fires on all buildings, houses and other structures, forest, transportation vehicles and equipment, ship or vessel docked at piers or wharves or anchored in major seaports, petroleum industry installation, plane crashes or other similar incidents, as well as the enforcement of the Fire Code and other related laws,

The Fire Bureau shall have the power to investigate all causes of fires and, if necessary, file the proper complaint with the city or provincial prosecutor who has jurisdiction over the case.

La Libertad Municipal Fire Station as of the moment is fully functional anchored on its mandate and compass by the Fire Code of the Philippines or known as Republic Act 9514 or RA 9514 and its revised implementing Rules and Regulations (RIRR) is at the service of La Libertad people steered by the present Acting Municipal Fire Marshal, FINSP.
