By the virtue of the Section 30 of Republic Act No. 10742, the Sanggunian Kabataan Reform Act of 2015 mandates the observance of Linggo ng Kabataan in every barangay, municipality, city and province on the week where the 12th of August falls to coincide with the International Youth Day (IYD) with the theme “Intergenerational Solidarity: Creating a World for All Ages”
In partnership with the Municipal Youth Officials and Local Youth Development Office, Pag-asa Youth Association of the Philippines (PYAP) and Sangguniang Kabataan Municipal Federation celebrated the Linggo ng Kabataan on August 19, 2022 at La Libertad National High School, Poblacion, La Libertad, Zamboanga del Norte.
